HC Deb 17 November 1930 vol 245 c39
83. Mr. RAYNES

asked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the proposal made to local authorities that they prepare a five years' programme of house building, he will say, in view of the doubt as to whether the present subsidies will be continued during the whole period, if he is prepared to accept schemes made conditional upon there being no reduction of such subsidies?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of HEALTH (Miss Lawrence)

I am sending my hon. Friend a copy of a circular recently issued on the subject of these programmes, and he will see that possible variations of subsidy are not material to their preparation.
