HC Deb 26 May 1930 vol 239 c796
33. Mr. MARJORIBANKS

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make inquiries from the Soviet Ambassador as to the penalty incurred by foreigners under the laws of the Soviet Union for infringing the law as regards the teaching of religion?

Mr. A. HENDERSON

I have nothing to add to my reply to a similar question by the hon. Member on Monday last.

Mr. MARJORIBANKS

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that my question arises directly out of an answer by his hon. Friend; will he state from what source he acquired the information that they were against the laws of the Soviet Union, and will he supplement it from the same source?

Mr. HENDERSON

That does not arise out of the question on the Order Paper.
