HC Deb 06 June 1930 vol 239 c2550
45. Sir K. WOOD

asked the Prime Minister whether he can state the organisation and administrative machinery which have been set up to deal with unemployment; whether there is any Departmental Committee dealing with the matter; whether it meets regularly; and whether he proposes taking any further action in these matters?

Mr. CLYNES

This question might be repeated after Whitsuntide.

Sir K. WOOD

Are there any good grounds for complaint against the adequacy of this organisation?

Mr. CLYNES

I can assure my right hon. Friend that the points raised in his question are receiving close attention, but I cannot add anything to what I have said.

Sir K. WOOD

But are there any good grounds for complaint against the adequacy of the organisation?

Mr. CLYNES

I do not think so.
