HC Deb 04 June 1930 vol 239 c2131
3. Mr. MANDER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he is aware of the harm that is being done to British trade by the difficulties experienced by foreigners in obtaining passport visas to visit this country; and what steps does he propose to take in the matter?

Mr. A. HENDERSON

Passport visas for the United Kingdom have been abolished in the case of a considerable number of countries. If the hon. Member will inform me of any specific case in which a foreign business man is alleged to have experienced difficulties in obtaining a visa I shall be glad to cause inquiries to be made into the matter.

Mr. MANDER

I will do so.
