§ 32. Mr. KELLYasked the Postmaster-General when the negotiations will be completed regarding the foot-paths at Aldershot, which were left in a dangerous condition when the work of cable-laying was engaged in by the Post Office?
§ Viscount WOLMERNegotiations are still proceeding and I understand that a settlement is now within sight. As mentioned in my reply to the hon. Member's question on the 22nd January, I 772 am informed that the footpaths present no danger to pedestrians.
§ Mr. KELLYIn view of my previous question, may I ask if this work will be hastened; and, even if the Noble Lord sees no danger in the present state of affairs, does he not see the inconvenience caused to the people of Aldershot?
§ Viscount WOLMERWe have taken steps to hasten the work, and I hope it will be completed in a short time.
