§ The ASSISTANT POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Viscount Wolmer)The answer is in the affirmative, but tenders for the new building have not yet been invited and the cost cannot yet be stated. The new premises will provide accommodation for the City and Central automatic Telephone Exchanges, for part of the equipment for the new Trunk and Toll Exchanges, and their associated services, as well as for clerical and welfare services in connection with all these Exchanges.
