§ Mr. BETTERTONThe number of insured persons classified as belonging to the coal-mining industry on the registers of Employment Exchanges in Scotland at 26th March, 1928, was 18,389.
§ 7. Mr. WESTWOODasked the Minister of Labour the number of miners who were registered as unemployed in Stirlingshire and Mid and East Lothian, respectively, on 31st December, 1924, 1925, and 1926, and the last date in 1928 for which figures are available?
§ Mr. BETTERTONAs the reply includes a number of figures, I will, with the hon. Member's permission, circulate a statement in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
