HC Deb 05 May 1927 vol 205 c1748
10. Sir W. de FRECE

asked the Home Secretary whether the Government is conducting any inquiry into the whole question of licensing, other than the Southborough investigation; and, if not, whether it proposes to conduct any such inquiry as regards hours in general?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. As to the second part, I am not in a position to commit myself in any way at the present time.

Mr. LOOKER

When does the right hon. Gentleman expect the Southborough Report to be presented?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

As a matter of fact I have it now and hope to present it in a few days.
