HC Deb 28 March 1927 vol 204 c869
60. Captain CROOKSHANK

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury how much would be saved by the Exchequer each year if in future the free railway vouchers issued to Members of this House were only available for third-class travelling?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Ronald McNeill)

Exact figures are not available, but it is estimated that the saving would be, approximately, £13,000 a year.
