HC Deb 14 February 1927 vol 202 cc544-5
34. Mr. HANNON

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he can give figures showing the import and export trade of Kenya and Uganda during the year 1926, and in each of the two preceding years?

Mr. AMERY

The figures for 1926 are not yet available. If my hon. Friend agrees, I will circulate the figures for the two preceding years in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Has the aggregate trade of the Colony been going down in the last three years? The question is whether it was decreasing, and the reason why it was decreasing.
