§ 38. Sir H. BRITTAINasked the Postmaster-General whether he can give approximate figures of the loss sustained on telegrams during the past 12 months?
§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONI gave the figures which my hon. Friend desires 868 in the Debate on the Post Office Estimates on 14th July last to which I would invite him to refer. Including interest and depreciation, the deficiency was about £1,300,000.
