HC Deb 09 November 1926 vol 199 cc859-60
20. Mr. WESTWOOD

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is aware of the facts connected with the conviction of George Mack, at the Selkirk Sheriff Court, in July of this year; and whether he will consider this case with a view to reducing the sentence?

The SECRETARY of STATE for SCOTLAND (Sir John Gilmour)

I have inquired into this case, but, after careful consideration, find no sufficient ground for advising any interference with the sentence.
