HC Deb 09 November 1926 vol 199 c860
21. Sir ALEXANDER SPROT

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether any churches or manses have been handed over to the General Trustees of the Church of Scotland; and, if so, how many?

Sir J. GILMOUR

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. I understand, however, that in several cases arrangements for transfer have been so far completed that petitions have been presented to the Sheriff for the issue of the statutory certificate that the heritors' obligations have been fulfilled.
