HC Deb 23 March 1926 vol 193 c1040
82. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY (for Mr. HORE-BELISHA)

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether, in consideration of the fact that His Majesty's ship "Valiant" was commissioned in February, 1923, for service in the Atlantic Fleet, and in September, 1924, s as transferred to the Mediterranean, so that the bulk of the ship's company have now served in the ship for over three years, a term longer than the normal commission, he can state when the "Valiant" is due to return to England, in order to relieve the minds of the crew and their dependants at home?

Mr. DAVIDSON

The crew at present in "Valiant" will shortly transfer to "Queen Elizabeth," and return to this country in that vessel probably about the end of May.
