§ Colonel ASHLEYI have been asked to reply. The returns of motor vehicle licences issued during January are not available. Quarterly statements are issued to the Press giving the number of motor vehicle licences issued under the various taxation categories. I am forwarding to my hon. Friend the four quarterly statements relating to the licensing year 1924. The quarterly statement for the three months ended 28th February last will he issued shortly, and I will furnish my hon. Friend with a copy as soon as it is available. I have no information on the point referred to in the last part of the question.
