HC Deb 05 July 1923 vol 166 c620
89. Sir R. HUTCHISON

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he will consider the giving up of three houses, situated in Coronation Buildings, South Hill Street, Burntisland, recently occupied by coastguardsmen and now empty, so that they may be used by civilians who are very short of houses in that locality?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the ADMIRALTY (Commander Eyres-Monsell)

These houses have been retained, as it was thought probable that they would be required for the crew of Inchkeith wireless telegraph station. It has now been decided to close down the wireless telegraph station, and steps are, therefore, being taken to surrender the houses without delay.
