HC Deb 26 February 1920 vol 125 c1888
20. Lieut.-Colonel A. MURRAY

asked the Home Secretary whether, having regard to the interests of the agricultural industry in Scotland, he will consider, in connection with future legislation, the suggestion that the period during which the Daylight Saving Act is in operation should be four instead of six months?

Mr. SHORTT

The whole question will come under the consideration of Parliament when a Bill is introduced to make the system permanent.

Major MACKENZIE WOOD

When will that be?

Mr. SHORTT

I cannot say.
