HC Deb 26 February 1920 vol 125 c1888
Mr. RAPER

asked the Home Secretary for what purpose the restrictions regarding the hours of sale of sweetmeats, cigarettes, etc., are still enforced in theatres, music halls, etc.?

Mr. SHORTT

The restrictions have not been withdrawn up to the present, because very strong representations have been made to me by the confectioners against the proposal to withdraw thorn. The matter requires to be very carefully considered before a decision can be taken.
