Colonel WEDGWOODasked the Minister of Health, whether he is aware that the inquiry to be held by his department into the extension of the borough boundaries of Stoke and Nowcastle-under-Lyme has been fixed for a day when Newcastle-under-Lyrne are unable to secure the attendance of their counsel; whether he is aware that the councils of Newcastle and Wolstanton, as well as the trades and labour council, have asked for an adjournment of the inquiry; and whether, in view of those circumstances, he will postpone the inquiry so that both sides may be properly represented and public opinion in the locality satisfied.
