Sir A. BOSCAWENThe Board have received many representations with regard to the proposed control of the 1919 hay crop, as a rule in a sense adverse to the continuance of control. The question is at present being considered by the Government.
Major WOODIs the hon. Gentleman aware that cases are occurring where farmers are having hay commandeered at£8 a ton, and are compelled to replace that hay at prices ranging up to as much as£16 a ton for consumption by their own stock?
