HC Deb 29 July 1919 vol 118 c1914
30. Lord- H. CAVENDISH-BENTINCK

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the officer in charge of records at Lichfield is refusing to supply the information required on Form B 2088, in order to place discharged men in the postal service; whether this refusal is in accordance with Army Order 245 of 1918; and, if so, whether he will cancel the Order, which is preventing discharged soldiers from obtaining employment in Government service?

Captain GUEST

The use of the Army Form mentioned was suspended by Army Order 245 of 1918, and it has now been replaced by a, new form (Army Form B2516), which serves the same purpose.
