§ 26. Sir ROBERT NEWMANasked the Secretary of State for War whether he 1914 is aware of the strong feeling existing among troops stationed at Constantinople in regard to the demobilisation delays, that there are still many men there of over forty years of age as well as time-expired Regular soldiers; and whether he will cause inquiry into the matter to he made?
Captain GUESTI would refer my hon. Friend to the instructions recently issued, which provide for the early release of all men eligible for demobilisation, including the cases mentioned by him. In view of these instructions, I do not think it necessary to institute any special inquiries.
