asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs who are now the financial, legal, interior, education, and public works advisers to the Egyptian Government; and whether any further changes in the personnel holding these offices are contemplated in the near future?

The following are the names of the officials referred to:—

Financial Adviser, Sir R. Crawford.

Judicial Adviser, Sir William Brunyate.

Adviser to the Ministry of Public Works, Sir Murdoch MacDonald.

As regards the Ministry of Education, Mr. D. Dunlop has resigned his post of Adviser, and Mr. J. Haines, Adviser to the Ministry of the Interior, is retiring in the near future. Messrs. Dunlop and Haines' places will be taken by Mr. E. S. Patterson and Brigadier-General Sir Gilbert Clayton.
