asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if a strict supervision is being exercised over the accounts of Rector's Club and similar institutions, so that the Inland Revenue may receive the full benefit of the vast profits of these undertakings?


The various statutory provisions to ensure the due assessment and collection of Income Tax are of general application, and would of course be operative in the cases which my hon. Friend has in mind.
