HC Deb 10 April 1919 vol 114 c2206
46. Major WARD-JACKSON

asked the Prime Minister whether, in order to develop the flour-milling industry of the United Kingdom, consideration will be given to the reduction of flour imported from overseas, with a corresponding increase in the imports of whole wheat?

The MINISTER of FOOD (Mr. Roberts)

I have been asked to reply. This question will certainly be considered, but I am not able at present to make any statement on the subject.
