HC Deb 05 November 1918 vol 110 cc1931-2
77. Brigadier-General CROFT

asked the Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury whether his attention has been called to the fact that a speaker in the employment of the War Aims Committee was dismissed because he denounced pacifists and others who are opposing the war aims of the country; and what action he proposes to take?

The JOINT PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Captain Guest)

As the National War Aims Committee has not dismissed any of its speakers for the reasons stated in the question, the need for any action does not arise.
