HC Deb 04 November 1918 vol 110 c1761
11. Mr. KING

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is aware that there are now in Siberia two competing Governments, one the Siberian Directorate emanating from the Oufa conference, and the other the Siberian Government relying on the military force of the Czecho-Slovaks; whether financial or military support has been given by this country, its agents, or the Allies to either or each of these authorities; if to one only, to which; and for what distance the Siberian railway is now in British or Allied hands?

The answer to the first and second parts of the question is in the negative; no part of the Siberian Railway has been taken out of Russian hands.
