HC Deb 04 November 1918 vol 110 c1760
10. Mr. KING

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Allies or the Czecho-Slovaks have captured 65 millions sterling in specie at Omsk; if so, in whose hands this sum now is; and whether it will be available for the funds of the new Czecho-Slovak Government?

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, and the rest of it does not, therefore, arise.

Is the Noble Lord aware that Lord Northcliffe's papers are responsible for this extraordinary statement?
