HC Deb 11 March 1918 vol 104 c28
22. Mr. SNOWDEN

asked the Minister of Munitions if he is aware that the joiners and bricklayers' and builders' labourers who are employed at His Majesty's factory, Craigleith, have not received the benefit of the award of 2d. advance which was given to them recently by the Board of Production, the manager of the works having refused to give the sum though the sward was given from the 4th January last; and, in view of the discontent among the men and the threat of a strike, will he see that the award is enforced at once?

Mr. KELLAWAY

No complaint has been made to the Department in this matter, but I am inquiring into the facts, and will communicate the result to my hon. Friend.
