HC Deb 25 June 1918 vol 107 c891
55. Sir G. REID

asked the President of the Board of Trade if an application has been made to the Board of Trade by the Union Nationale Inter-Syndicale for registration of a mark of origin for goods made in France; and, if so, with what result?

Mr. WARDLE

Applications have been received from the Union Nationale Inter-Syndicale des Marques Collectives for the registration of marks under the provisions of Section 62 of the Trade Marks Act, 1905. The applications have been considered, and the marks will be advertised in the "Trade Marks Journal" of the 26th June; after which date they will be open to opposition for a period of one month before the marks are registered.
