Mr. RAMSAY MACDONALDasked the Secretary of State for India if he has had his attention drawn to the dispute which has arisen in the Kaira district of the northern division of Gujarat between the ryots and the Commissioner on a matter of an opinion as to the condition of the crops upon which revenue has to be paid; whether he can state what is now the position of the dispute; and what, if any, steps are being taken to relieve the tension and re-establish confidence?
