HC Deb 18 January 1918 vol 101 c608
22. Captain CARR-GOMM

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he can now say how much money has been allocated for the work of the War Aims Committee?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I would refer my lion. and gallant Friend to the statements-made in the Debate on the Estimate for this Service.

Mr. WHYTE

Is the right hen. Gentleman aware that we were given no information? The Vote was taken as a Token Vote. The subject is one which peculiarly concerns the representatives of the people in Parliament, and therefore they are entitled to more information than they have.

Mr. BON AR LAW

I am perfectly aware that the whole subject was discussed in Debate.
