HC Deb 20 February 1918 vol 103 c738
43. Mr. CROOKS

asked the Minister of Munitions whether clerks in controlled establishments or in certified public utility works are entitled to the 12⅛per cent. bonus awarded to time-workers; and, if not, will he state the reason why?

Mr. KELLAWAY

Advances in the remuneration of clerks are a matter for the particular establishments in which they are employed. As regards controlled establishments, a large number of proposals for the payment of a bonus to the clerical staff, equivalent to the 12⅛ per cent., have already been approved.
