HC Deb 13 June 1917 vol 94 c922
21. Sir EDWARD BEAUCHAMP

asked whether a man originally rejected under the Derby scheme and who on joining a Volunteer Training Corps was turned down for musketry practice because he could not see the target or the sights on the rifle, and has on re-examination been classed A1, can have an opportunity of appearing before a special medical board to decide whether he has been properly classed; and, if so, what steps he should take, as he has been called up for 20th June?

Mr. MACPHERSON

If my hon. Friend will give me the name and address of the man to whom the question refers, I will have enquiries made as to his medical examination, having special regard to the matter of his eyesight.
