HC Deb 26 April 1917 vol 92 c2588
11. Mr. FITZPATRICK

asked the Chief Secretary if he has yet received a Report with reference to the floods caused in the townlands of Derrykeirn, Capnaclough, Shanahoe, and Cloncough by the weir across the River Nore at Leeche's disused woollen mill near Abbeyleix; and, if so, what steps he intends taking in the matter?

Mr. DUKE

I have received a Report on this subject which I shall be happy to show to the hon. Member. I am advised that I have no power to direct the removal of the weir.
