HC Deb 19 April 1917 vol 92 c1831
104. Mr. CLANCY

asked the Secretary to the Board of Trade whether the Board has yet considered the claim of the agents, stationmasters, and clerical staff of the Great Southern and Western Railway Company of Ireland for inclusion in the scheme of increased remuneration for Irish railway workers; and, if so, whether he will state the result?

Mr. ROBERTS

The Board of Trade have been in communication with the railway company on this matter, and the company, in accordance with an opinion expressed by the Department, are, I understand, arranging to repay to their clerical staff certain deductions from the war bonus which have been the subject of dispute.
