HC Deb 22 May 1916 vol 82 cc1809-10
90. Mr. HEALY

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether the military have preserved the guns surrendered by the insurgents in Dublin; how many do they amount to; how many machines guns were captured; and will any opportunity be given to this House of estimating the real magnitude of the rebellion by reference to the munitions of war captured by or surrendered to the military by men actually in revolt in Dublin?

Mr. TENNANT

All guns and ammunition have been preserved, and a full report will be made in due course, when all arms surrendered have been collected.

Mr. HEALY

That is not my question. The question is as to the number of guns taken from or surrendered by the rebels in arms in Dublin?

Mr. TENNANT

I misunderstood the hon. and learned Member's question. I have not got those particulars here, but a return will be made.
