§ 16. Sir CHARLES HENRYasked the Under-Secretary of State for War if he is aware of the desire of a number of men domiciled in this country who are subjects of our Allies in Europe, but have not been called upon for military service for their respective countries, to join different Volunteer Training Corps; and whether he will consider amending the Volunteer Regulations of 1901, so as to enable these men, provided they can obtain the permission of the Ambassadors of their countries, to join Volunteer Training Corps, thereby affording them the advantage of military training and strengthening the Volunteer Force?
§ Mr. TENNANTI cannot say more at present than that my hon. Friend's suggestion will be borne in mind.
