asked the Secretary for Scotland whether he is now in a position to make any announcement with regard to the representations made to him by the Royal Scottish Arboricultural Society as to the desirability of increasing the resources of the country and absorbing the labour of soldiers returning from the War by means of a scheme of afforestation?
