asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he can see his way to grant to warrant officers' stewards and cooks of the Royal Naval Barracks, Devonport, the privilege of wearing the service cap badge and a uniform that will prevent them being mistaken on shore for men following civil occupation?

It has been decided to allow officers' stewards and cooks to-wear Service cap badges, and orders on the subject are about to be issued.
