§ The CHAIRMAN of WAYS and MEANS (Mr. Whitley)I beg to move to leave out the word "be," to the end of the Question, and to add, instead thereof, the words "recommitted to the Local Legislation Committee."
This Motion is for the purpose of dividing the contentious matter for the remainder of the Bill. There are certain valuable unopposed provisions which, in my opinion, ought to go forward, and for that purpose I move the reference back of the Bill. I shall also move the Motion on the Paper, with some slight alterations in the drafting.
