HC Deb 15 September 1914 vol 66 c855
38. Mr. CHANCELLOR

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether if officers, soldiers, and sailors in the Regular Forces who were insured prior to the outbreak of the War are refused the same privileges as Territorials, namely, that they should not be required to pay additional premiums, the Government will pay such extra premiums for them or, in the alternative, will fix a minimum rate with insurance companies?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for WAR (Mr. Tennant)

I have nothing to add to what has been stated in answer to the Noble Lord the Member for Hitchin by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister.
