HC Deb 18 November 1914 vol 68 c404
6. Mr. DUNDAS WHITE

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether there has been any correspondence between His Majesty's Government and the Russian Government with reference to the action of the latter in not only stopping the sale of vodka but also prohibiting the sale of alcoholic drinks of any kind wherever Russian martial law prevails; and, if so, what was the nature of that correspondence, and whether he will lay Papers?

Mr. ACLAND

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, and the remainder, therefore, does not arise.
