Mr. KINGasked the Under-Secretary for War whether he is aware that soldiers at the front, and also on returning from the front, find difficulty in obtaining proper value or fair exchange for British or French cash; and whether arrangements have been or will be made to facilitate fair exchange of money in the hands of soldiers passing to or from these shores?
Mr. BAKERI am informed that as a rule the usual exchange facilities are found to meet the case. Special arrangements have been made at one port of disembarkation, as they appeared to be necessary.
