asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will give the average price of wheat in London, Paris, and Berlin during 1913?

Mr. BURNS

The average "Gazette" price of British wheat in London during 1913 was 33s. 1d. per Imperial quarter, and the average declared value of wheat imported into London during that year was 35s. In Paris and Berlin the average official prices of wheat per Imperial quarter—quoted irrespective of origin—were 48s. 5d. and 42s. 7d. respectively.
