Mr. COWANasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether a statement has been received by the Treasury from the United Association of ex-Naval and Military Civil servants embodying an estimate of the cost of granting pensions, taking into account Colour service as well as Civil service, to ex-naval and military Civil servants; if so, whether he has taken any steps to check the accuracy or otherwise of the estimate given; and, if not, whether he now proposes to do so?
