HC Deb 23 January 1913 vol 47 c585
8. Mr. DILLON

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will now lay upon the Table further Papers on the affairs of Persia; and whether he will cause the Papers to be brought up to date and to include a statement of any exchange of views as to Persian affairs between himself and the Russian Foreign Minister during the visit of the Russian Minister to this country and a full statement of any communications which passed between the Governments of England, Russia, and Persia in reference to the return of Saad-ed-Dowleh to Teheran and the proposal that he should be appointed to a leading position in the Government of Persia?

Sir E. GREY

The last Papers were laid as lately as July. Further Papers on the subject of Persia are being prepared, and will be laid before Parliament as soon as they are ready, but this cannot be done till next Session.
