HC Deb 15 January 1913 vol 46 cc2054-5
22. Mr. CRAWSHAY-WILLIAMS

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether his attention has been called to complaints regarding the sanitary state of Nairobi; and whether any action is contemplated to remedy conditions which appear menacing to the health of the in habitants?

Mr. HARCOURT

The question of the sanitation, not only of Nairobi but of the East Africa Protectorate generally has been recently before me and I am now considering, in consultation with the Governor and my expert advisers, the best method of improving the present state of affairs.
