HC Deb 28 October 1912 vol 43 cc17-8
30. Mr. FALLE

asked whether the Report of the Departmental Committee to inquire into the pay and pension and position of the Royal Navy shipwrights has been received by the Board of Admiralty; and when a reply to the petition of the Royal Navy shipwrights may be expected?

31. Sir C. KINLOCH-COOKE

asked whether the Lords Commissioners have considered the interim Report submitted by the Departmental Committee appointed by the Admiralty to investigate the conditions under which the naval shipwrights serve; whether they have arrived at any definite decision in the matter; and, if so, when their decision will be made known?

Dr. MACNAMARA

The Report of the Committee is now before the Board, but a decision has not yet been arrived at. There will be no undue delay.
