§ 41. Colonel YATEasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, considering the fact that there is no specific clause in the Order in Council of the 10th January, 1912, to prevent the transfer from the Colonial Civil Service to the Home Civil Service of a Civil servant who has passed the same competitive examination as the home Civil Servant, he will consider the question of balancing future transfers from the Home to the Colonial Civil Service by permitting transfers back from the Colonial Civil Service to the Colonial Office?
§ The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Mr. Harcourt)As I have already indicated in previous replies to the hon. and gallant Member, no question of balancing arises as no transfer has been made to a Colonial cadet appointment.
